14th Anjali International Children Festival 2015

Festivals of Joy by Tamil Nadu CWSN at Bhubaneswar

Anjali International Children Festival-2015 have been celebrated in a grand manner in Bhubaneswar. This festival is conducted every year to create awareness on Children With Special Needs and to create inclusive atmosphere to par with regular school going children. 70 members from Tamil Nadu have been participated in the festival (38 CWSN, 15 Non-disabled, 13 escorts and 4 team leaders)

The celebration of festivals at camp Anjali goes beyond the frontiers of religious ambit and regional boundaries. Besides being the reminiscence of our rich and hoary cultural heritage, these joyous celebrations bear witness to the humanitarian love, spontaneous, unconditional and the spirit of togetherness. It is an attempt for a society that accepts and accommodates each and every CWSN in a dignified manner…as we are and with the little differences we have.

In 2016-17, SSA - Tamil Nadu will plan to celebrate State level Inclusive Festival especially at SRC which strengthen social inclusion.
